Sustainability Matters
Most charging cables simply having the wire that is encased with PVC (Basically rubber), here at Chubbytech we chose silicone. Silicone is more environmentally friendly than plastic. It is made from silica, which is derived from sand, and manufacturing silicone does not involve mining for crude oil, which most plastics are made from. With silicone, it is also more durable and better to touch.
Compact & Zero waste By Design
Considering the big waste of one-time packaging papers and plastic, we decide on switching to suede dust bag for packaging so that our customers could enjoy the repeated use. By replacing the traditional packaging, our product also become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.
